Still on module (7th week)

As mentioned in my earlier post we were given the 1st module.

So, in this class we were to continue working on our module which was helpful as we could finish it up much quickly.

I would like to share one of the skill that i have learned through this model which is 'encoding' Before this i had no idea what it was all about and never would have tried but thanks to the module i did get my chance.

Encoding is the process of putting a sequence of characters (letters, numbers, punctuation, and certain symbols) into a specialized format for efficient transmission or storage. Decoding is the opposite process -- the conversion of an encoded format back into the original sequence of characters. Encoding and decoding are used in data communications, networking, and storage. The term is especially applicable to radio (wireless) communications systems.

Module oh module~ (6th week)

Shocked and surprised when we been handed the 1st module. My rm20 flew away from my wallet, actually i borrow from Husni bcoz dun have enough money..hahaha..OMG, thick like yellow pages. That's why Puan Foziah told us we will only be busy with the modules before that, no wonder. phew, i feel like crying. Lazy and lazy and lazy, but what to do. We had to. Maybe we'll learn something good from the module. What we are going to do with the module is to follow all the steps in it, comments on the part which we don't understand and produce another module (our own module).

I can remember some faces of my friends, wide eyes, open mouth and stress when handed the modules. Then i thought, oowh, not me alone =p..Again i thought, if i keep mumbling and stress about it, then it will never finish. So i started to work on it. After hours and class over, i only managed to finish a few, but i can continue it at home.
After gone through the module day by day, i can see the progress..haha..Actually, i learnt some knowledge about softwares, encoding things and others. Some things in the module i had never use and hear before. BUT, all the softwares i downloaded make my laptop like hell, loaded with viruses and slow..noooo=(..Luckily i have my friend who can format my laptop.=)..the end

Teaching aids (5th week)

i'm alive..haha..actually i don't want to write anything for this week but i have to. Well, i am kind of good student, isn't it??..huh..this week...hemmm(thinking), owh, teaching aids. This week, we have to have our boyfriend and girlfriend. Really!!. "Boys will hand me a messy work", sth like that by Puan Foziah. Not really agree because not all of us did messy work/job.(eventhough i am). For me, the luckiest girl (could be the most unlucky actually) to pair with me is the, Syikin!!!Congratulation.. We had been given the task of Today is for year 1, The animal world for year 2 and Before and now for year 3. What we need to do is actually to find as many as possible teaching aids for the topic given, the teaching aids must be technological stuff, task sheet or anything that unrelated to technology is prohibited. Well, for me the 1st and 2nd topic are quite easy but the 3rd one is the most difficult. Before and now is a topic that is so hard to find the teaching aids, esp the technological one. As people says, shame to ask, we lost. Well that happened to me. Just after get the topic, i quickly searching for the teaching aids without knowing what we required to do. Then after twice been face to face with Puan Foziah and she showed me the example, i become clear as crystal on what to do. While we were busy finding the stuffs, Puan Foziah entertain us with a song from Maher Zain entitle "Insyaallah". But the funny thing was, one of my friend said that the song was not nice at all. She's non muslim, can't blame her=)..We can't finish the work within the time given and continue at home. Proudly, me and Syikin successfully handed the work to Puan Foziah before 4pm, due time. Nice to work with Syikin, no pressure and DONE..babai.

This time for Africa (4th week)

The song waka waka by Shakira suddenly become cohort5 most downloaded. Not just the song, but also the video clip and lyric. If Shakira knows, she must be very proud with us all. Actually, this week, we had to downloaded Shakira song, both mp4 and mp3 together with the lyric. I don't know why Puan Foziah chose this song, maybe she's a die hard fan of Shakira, who know. Frankly speaking, me also like this song very much, its make me feel spirited(not because of the video,hahaha). The man objective of downloading this song is to introduced us to the fastest You Tube downloader of all, Moyea. As for me, before this, i just know about xilisoft then after that i used IDM.But this Moyea is actually faster than IDM eventhough the process is bit complicated. From the lesson that day, we also get new knowledege which is "PrintScreen". Frankly speaking, i just know little about the function of the keyboard, the basic thing about it. The printscreen, scroll lock, pause break, end and may more, i just ignore it. Thanks to Puan Foziah for introducing us with the printscreen button. This button is actually to save or store whatever picture, document or anything that appear on your lappy/pc at the moment you press it. It was something interesting and new to me as i keep printscreen everything that appear on my monitor. But one thing that not very nteresting was, homework=(...we need to make 3 power point slide show on how we downloaded the video, song and lyric. This time around, printscreen is a must. Well, whether i like it or not, i must do it and i've done it.yeah yeah. That all for this time, see you next time, maybe..haha
